There is a cost connected to not listening. Missed opportunities. Misunderstandings. Conflict. Lost sales. Poor decisions. And teams that don’t work as well as they could.

This workshop helps you listen to what is actually being said, ask better questions and hold back your own assumptions long enough to understand what really matters. The result? Fewer misunderstandings, stronger relationships, better teamwork and cooler conversations with customers.

In this workshop, you’ll learn how to:

  • Listen for what is actually being said
  • Ask the difficult questions that move conversations, people and processes forward
  • Talk less, listen more and keep your own assumptions in check
  • Use body language to create better conversations
  • Recognise what gets in the way of good listening

You’ll leave with:

  • A proven method for listening more effectively
  • A stronger “listening muscle”, exercised through practice
  • Listening techniques used by investigators, journalists, psychologists and other professional listeners
  • Better questioning techniques
  • A clear understanding of what effective listening requires
  • Greater awareness of body language that helps people tell what’s on their mind
